Delhi District Courts – Indicative Court Fees Chart

A practical reference chart for commonly filed civil, criminal and miscellaneous matters. Court fee may vary depending on valuation, relief claimed, forum, amendment, filing scrutiny and local practice.

1 Civil Cases

Hindu Marriage Act Cases Rs. 25/- Fixed category fee as per court-fee chart.
Civil Miscellaneous Appeal Rs. 10/- Subject to nature of appeal and filing scrutiny.
Rent Appeal Rs. 15/- Fixed category fee as per court-fee chart.

Suit for Permanent / Mandatory Injunction Minimum Rs. 13/- per injunction If valuation is higher, appropriate court fee is payable as per the court-fee table.
Declaration Simplicitor Rs. 20/- Applicable where only a bare declaration is sought, without consequential relief. Common Delhi practice values the relief of declaration at Rs. 200/- and affixes Rs. 20/- court fee.
Declaration with Consequential Relief Ad valorem / as per consequential relief claimed Where declaration is coupled with consequential relief, such as possession, cancellation, injunction affecting substantive rights, partition, recovery, or other enforceable relief, court fee is computed according to the consequential relief and the real substance of the plaint.

3 Copies, Inspection, Vakalatnama and Process Fee

4 Probate and Succession Certificate
